Admissions and Attendance Information Non-Discrimination Policy In compliance with the purposes of the Title IX
Education Act, the elementary and secondary Catholic schools of the
Archdiocese of Denver, under the jurisdiction of Archbishop Charles
Chaput and at the direction of the Secretary of Catholic Education,
attest that none of the Catholic schools discriminate on the basis
of gender in its admission policies, treatment of students, or its
employment practices. St. Rose in the Denver Community Although St. Rose is a private school, we serve the entire Denver community by offering an educational program that provides small class sizes, quality education, and a graduation rate of over 98% (compared to 70% at public schools) to middle and low-income families. Additionally, we provide these benefits for less than half the per-child cost of public schools. More on our students. Please contact the school office for tuition information. For families registered in a Catholic parish, and recognized by their respective pastors as parishioners, there are discounts as well as reduced rates for multiple children. Tuition is the same for Catholics not registered in a Catholic parish and non-Catholic students. Monthly payments begin in August. There is a 150 dollar per child nonrefundable registration fee. Children who are accepted at St. Rose may apply for financial assistance through the Seeds of Hope Assistance Program, Educational Options for Children, and Alliance for Choice in Education. All financial assistance is based on need and available funds. Tax forms are required as proof of income. Each family is expected to give 25 hours of volunteer service to the school and to help raise 250 dollars each year through lap-a-thon and candy sales. School tours are available for anyone who is interested. Please contact the office to schedule a tour. Policies of the Archdiocese of Denver A complete listing of the policies of the Archdiocese of Denver, which govern the operation of St. Rose of Lima, is available from the principal. |
